Garth Gilmour

About Me

Since 1997 I've been a developer, educator, coach, event organiser and speaker. Initially I taught C++ to C coders, then Java to C++ coders, then C# to Java coders and now Kotlin to everyone. This all adds up to well over 1000 deliveries, workshops and events.

I have authored dozens of courses, organise several meetups and am a prolific speaker at local and international conferences. Outside of tech I practise and teach multiple martial arts, lift weights and dabble in politics. I'm based out of Belfast but travel around quite a bit.
